Job Description

As part of the Software Quality Assurance team, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst executes manual test cases, performing functional, smoke (confidence) and regression testing throughout the product iteration to identify and report defects. This position is also responsible for deriving test cases from product requirements, performing risk analysis to determine test case priority and focused testing efforts. The SQA Analyst will work closely with other analysts to establish and improve quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures. The position will execute manual test cases across varying configurations including browsers and mobile devices. The result will enable Ent to more reliably and predictably deliver quality software to meet the objectives of the business. This resource will work primarily on agile teams with scrum masters, product owners, software developers and other SQA analysts.
Essential Functions

  • Test Execution: Executes test cases. Conducts experienced based and Ad Hoc testing. Maintains organization and structure of test suite library. Conducts performance, stress and load testing
  • Test Development: Identifies, authors, and maintains test cases derived from product requirements and specifications.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) fo responsibility. Provides mentorship and coaching to jr analysts on QA best practices, procedures and standards.
  • Test Coordination: Provides testing estimates. Performs analysis of project requirements.
  • Defect Reporting/Tracking: Identifies and reports detailed project defects.
  • Production Deployment: Conducts post deployment testing and change verification. Approves and communicates the status of production release(s).
  • Uses various means to troubleshoot technical concerns and researches possible solutions.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for Level III

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related
  • 3+ years' experience with banking software support or similar software
  • Technical experience with mobile devices
  • 5+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing Pref


Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.


Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong customer service, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to learn new and emerging concepts very quickly.
  • Comfortable working in highly collaborative environments.
  • Financial systems, Banking software support or similar experience.
  • Must be able to maintain good productivity in developing test plans and test cases.
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Identifying and documenting test cases.
  • Software Testing of Web applications.
  • Software Testing of Mobile devices.
  • Ad hoc or exploratory testing.
  • Experience with Agile software development.
  • Familiarity with test case management software.


Certifications Required:

  • Level III: ASTQB/ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification within 90 Days preferred

Additional Information

Typical Pay Range Level III: $58,780.80 - $77,168.00 (IT-13)

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
