Job Description

The primary responsibility of the position is to perform routine and preventative maintenance at all facilities to include space planning, work station alterations, and furniture moves. Additional responsibilities would include assisting all other positions in the troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on buildings, HVAC systems, fire systems, furnishings, corporate vehicles, grounds maintenance and equipment maintenance. Works with contractors and vendors to validate that work is completed as committed, and are consistent with service level agreements (SLA). Assist vendors in the completion of projects as required.

Essential Job Duties

  • Performs routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on mechanical systems, facilities, grounds, equipment and vehicles. Prioritize which assigned maintenance tasks need to be completed daily and responds to routine and service requests as timely as possible.
  • Completes scheduled building inspections to meet standards set by the Regional Building Department, Fire Department, City Utilities, State Safety Inspections, ADA Regulations. Performs services that are noted as a result of the inspections that require immediate attention or follows up when time allows completing any noted items.
  • Works on location with vendors and contractors to provide building access, assure that vendors/contractors perform work as contracted, and assist with job as needed.
  • Assists with construction, alterations, and preparation for moves within the Credit Union and coordinates with the requestors when specific tasks will be completed to meet required deadlines.

  • Responds to unexpected emergencies such as power outages, equipment failures, damage to buildings, security breaches, and water and sewage concerns. May be assigned to be on-call after hours.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. or Equivalent

Minimum Work Experience:

  • 4+ years' experience in an industrial, commercial, or facilities operations setting. required

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Basic understanding of project management for the coordination of efforts between staff and vendors/contractors.
  • Broad competence with all basic and most advanced building maintenance skills to include, but not limited to, Carpentry, Electrical systems, Fire/Safety systems, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting, and Grounds Maintenance.
  • General command of basic motor vehicle maintenance.
  • Knowledge and skill in the types and uses of small hand held tools, power tools, lock and lock assemblies, painting materials
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures followed in connection with maintenance tasks including, but not limited to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, machine operation, climbing equipment (ladders, scaffolds, rigging, etc), hand-tools, chemical solvents, and cleaning agents.
  • Knowledge of state and local laws, rules, regulations and codes governing buildings, electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing systems and landscaping.
  • Ability to maintain records.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to read and interpret such documents as technical and equipment operation manuals, plans, specifications, blueprints, etc.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Able to communicate details of a situation clearly and concisely.

Certifications Required:

  • Valid Colorado State driver's license and an acceptable driving record required
  • Must obtain 30-hour OSHA certification within 180 Days required

Additional Information

The hourly pay range for the Facilities Maintenance Technician Senior is $20.75 to $27.24 (S13)

This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on performance.
