USA Cycling is the national governing body for the sport of cycling and oversees the disciplines of road, track, mountain bike, cyclocross and BMX. With a mission to develop the sport of cycling in the United States and to achieve sustained international racing success, USA Cycling supports cyclists at all levels, from those just beginning in the sport and participating in fun rides to seasoned professionals. The organization not only identifies, develops, and selects cyclists to represent the United States in international competition, but also supports amateur bike racing through grassroots development programs and the provision of critical infrastructure to run organized racing. Core Responsibilities:

Customer Service: 
  • Interact on a daily basis with members of our broad and diverse cycling community, working to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Actively work to resolve customer membership inquiries, complaints and refund generation as needed under the direction of the Customer Service Success Lead.
  • Provide backup support to the Customer Success Lead as needed.
  • Perform data entry and record processing work as required, including membership applications, creation of UCI ID’s and printing physical licenses for members. 
  • Cross-functional work on data cleanup in conjunction with IT department for auto renewal throughout the 12-month rolling calendar period.
  • Manage membership email lists, provide input on content and send email blasts to our membership as needed.
  • Give feedback on new techniques and approaches to best serve the cycling community.

Marketing Admin: 


  • Assist with scheduling calls/virtual meetings for the Marketing team
  • Grow your digital marketing skill set through by providing support as needed on projects related to the USAC website, newsletters, social content and other digital assets
  • Regularly research latest marketing trends and find best ways to promote brands
  • Research media marketing strategy and ways to engage/-increase media presence
  • Perform these and other duties as assigned


Job Requirements
Job Specifications:
o Generally requires industry knowledge of sports (cycling a plus!)
o Work background in a membership based organization with a strong focus on customer service
o Clear, concise, professional verbal and written communication skills
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to navigate high-stress situations and keep composure
o Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
o Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook and Strava
o Experience managing basic website content
