Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activity for assigned operating entities, including timely account reconciliations to support accurate month‑end close and reporting.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial statements for leadership, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting timelines.
- Perform bank reconciliations, validate cash activity, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with financial institutions as needed.
- Record and review accounting transactions related to construction financing, property closings, and land acquisitions.
- Support annual audit and review processes by preparing schedules, supplying documentation, and responding promptly to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external software partners to support accounting systems and identify process and technology improvements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial and corporate information while consistently adhering to company policies and internal controls.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment through clear communication, professionalism, and a commitment to ongoing development of accounting and system knowledge.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or construction-related environment.
• Demonstrated experience with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation practices.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations and researching variances with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, along with experience using accounting software systems.
• Ability to manage sensitive information discreetly and communicate effectively across departments.
