Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Space Integration Instructor in Colorado Springs. The Space Integration Instructor will develop, implement, validate, and maintain course material at the 319 Combat Training Squadron (CTS), Peterson SFB CO integrating joint, interagency, multi-national, all-domain curriculum into the USSF Officer Training Course (OTC).
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and deliver training with the following attributes
- Provide classroom instruction consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD) satisfying government training requirements
- Interface with internal and external space agencies as required maintaining up-to-date training program
- Conduct, manage and qualify on lessons based on 319 CTS instructions, security classification guides, and other guidance as identified in the lesson plans
- Participate in wargames and exercises as subject matter expert (SME) and role player
- Coordinate instructional activities with the division chief, training managers and government training personnel
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills
Experience Required:
- Possess working knowledge and experience with training systems and training programs
- Possess expert knowledge with integrating joint, interagency and all-domain capabilities into joint/combined operations
- Possess expert knowledge of and experience with operational level command and control
- Possess expert knowledge of US national strategy and policy frameworks
- Possess working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) organizations and processes
- Possess working knowledge of capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of US and adversary space systems
- Possess expert knowledge of mission planning, briefing, executing and debriefing tactical space operations
- Possess working knowledge of strategic and operational planning processes
- Completion of Air Force instructor course or similar joint instructor course preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
- Working knowledge of instructional design skills (ADDIE) and adult learning theories in all phases of instructional design, and ability to apply it to work assignments is preferred.

Education Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in relevant field or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of additional experience may be substituted for education requirement
Years of Experience:
- 4 years of experience with USAF/USSF training, to include planning and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model and training records keeping
Travel: Yes-25%
Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $125,000 to $135,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
