Location: Colorado Springs, CO; Up to 15% travel required
About the organization: Save the Storks is a growing non-profit that brings energy and innovation to the heart of the Pro-Life movement. 84% of women felt abortion was their only choice and 64% of women felt pressured into an abortion. There is lots of angry rhetoric and politics on both sides of this debate. Save the Storks provides an innovative “3rd option” with a non-political, non-combative approach supporting pregnancy resource centers nationally to love & give choices to abortion-vulnerable women. Affiliate Care Specialist Job Summary: Serve as primary point of contact for all customer and affiliate inquiries and needs and facilitate communication to resolve issues. Follow-up to ensure issues are resolved, deadlines met, and questions answered. Promotes a community of like-minded affiliate PRCs, and facilitates and creates avenues for Affiliate PRCs to connect with one another. Contact Affiliates quarterly to hear stories and challenges, brainstorm solutions, and provide additional follow-up. Create new ways to love and support Affiliates. Finds creative ways to use current StS initiatives to bless and promote Affiliates and connect them with StS vision. Follows up on delivery of services, and ensures satisfaction. Occasional travel will be necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility #1 - (65%) Affiliate Care/Customer Care: ● Manages all regular communication with all Storks Affiliates.
Responds to all PRC communication, collaborates with team to facilitate resolution of issues and follow-up to ensure affiliate satisfaction. Keeps up to date on current needs and challenges of all Affiliates. ● Develops system and processes for ongoing care and support of Affiliates to promote a culture of quality and generosity. ● Creates and assumes lead role on events and initiatives that support, equip, and encourage our Affiliates. ● Be the first point of contact to new affiliates, ensuring they feel welcomed and well supported ● Connect with Affiliates on a personal, thoughtful level, sending birthday & anniversary cards to all of our Affiliates, and thinking of creative ways to serve affiliates. ● Develops methods for Affiliate feedback and response, and reaches out quarterly to non-responsive PRCs. ● Manage communication with Affiliates as it relates to MMU Appearances, Memorandums of Understanding, and attendance at Storks events such as Living Room Reset. ● Provides engaging content on Affiliate Facebook page, answers question and provides support for issues presented on FB page ● Follow up after services are rendered to ensure satisfaction and send out follow up surveys. ● Travels to annual national conferences to manage Affiliate dinner and events, and support event success ● Possible travel to regional pro-life events to support event success ● May be called upon to make follow-up visits to Affiliates.
Responsibility #2 - (25%) Stories and Statistics Collection ● Collect data and stories of lives impacted and choices for life from STS Affiliates each month, track and compile relevant data and review with the Marketing Department. ● Create reports for major Stork Bus donors, updating them on statistics and stories collected from the units they helped fund.
Responsibility # 3 - (10%) Administrative Support ● Support the Director in all day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, client-centered environment. This includes managing calendars, assisting with data entry and note taking, managing email, filing, and other administrative tasks as assigned. ● Assists with creation and delivery of department communications; including drafting emails and proofreading internal documents. ● Conducts project research to aid in decision making ● Runs errands as needed
Qualifications: ● A growing, mature Christian faith ● A genuine passion for Life and the mission of Save the Storks ● Disciplined work ethic, and ability to focus on priorities ● Proficient with computers and software, particularly Apple products, Google Docs and Microsoft Office applications. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with individuals of all levels; firm grasp of grammar and spelling. ● Strong organizational skills; goal driven; results oriented ● Professional written and oral communication ● Professional, pleasant and helpful demeanor; “Can Do” attitude; one who anticipates needs. ● Teachable, receptive to feedback, open to new approaches & ideas ● Commitment to excellence in the development and growth of the organization as well as individual professional development ● Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and positive in a changing work environment; able to gracefully navigate stressful situations
Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour, full-time, with benefits available after 90-day probation.
