Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dedicated school team near Colorado Springs, CO. In this school-based role, youll work closely with students to develop their speech and language skills, providing support that will help them succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students needs and determine appropriate interventions.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective student support.
Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student development and offer recommendations.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Colorado SLP license or eligibility.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
