The Role

Entegris is looking for a Quality Technician to its growing Advanced Materials Handling team! The Quality Technician will complete a variety of tasks to ensure product compliance to established quality standards. The Quality Technician provides leadership for key quality processes for the plant such as coordinating all quality notifications, managing eCofa program, support incoming, inventory and calibration program.

Pay Range: $20 - $25

In this role you will

  • Lead site calibration program and ensure all instruments are calibrated on time
  • Develop, create, review, and approve production records (batch records), releases products and generates Certificate of Analysis
  • Support incoming and final inspections, as needed
  • Scheduling and leading meetings, assigning and completing tasks, verifying process execution, determining and approving dispositions, monitoring incoming and blocked stock inventory
  • Coordinate all quality notifications; reviewing new quality notifications, assigning and monitoring tasks, reviewing for closure
  • Assist troubleshooting process to minimize downtime of metrology tools
  • Assist First Article inspections, Capability Studies, and Measurement Systems Analysis as required
  • Assist New Product Development activities (development of inspection methods, data collection for Validation and qualification, etc.) to ensure products released to manufacturing meet quality performance goals
  • Assist to review procedures, work instructions, test specifications, and other documents
  • Conducts process audits to ensure compliance with applicable procedures

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • High School degree or GED with a minimum of 3 years of Quality experience, or a minimum of two years of college/trade school and 2 years of Quality experience, or Associate's Degree (AS) or equivalent with 1 year of QA experience
  • Experience using a variety of measurement equipment including CMM's, calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, dial indicator, surface plate, optical comparators
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, at all plant organizational levels
  • Strong attention to detail, active listening skills, willing to learn, be hands on and work independently in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Experience as a Quality Tech in a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience with ERP system (SAP Preferred)
  • Lean and Six Sigma Yellow belt or similar quality certification preferred
