Opportunity Snapshot

As an Outreach Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Building rapport and educating members on their available options, including facility or screening options, preventative screening services available to them, or other alternative treatment options.
  • Reviewing cases and conducting research on each case to offer patients multiple options.
  • Reaching out to the physician's offices, making outbound calls to our members, and fielding incoming calls.
  • Tracking details on all cases worked
  • Providing exceptional customer service on each call

Minimum Experience Required

To be a strong fit for the Consumer Engagement Outreach Educator role, you will need:

  • A strong customer service orientation and commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • A proactive customer service approach
  • Sales/Marketing experience preferred
  • To be self-directed and highly motivated
  • The ability to relate well to all types of people
  • Great active listening skills
  • An upbeat attitude open to coaching and growth

Required Skills

You will also need:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening skills
  • Computer literacy, including:
    • The ability to type 30-40+ wpm with accuracy
    • The ability to multitask, typing and shifting between open windows and applications as you speak with callers, do research, complete paperwork, etc.
    • The skill to use common software such as MS Office, especially Word, and perform tasks such as Cut, Copy, and Paste
  • Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 8:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday
  • Must be able to attend a 4 week training program from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday- Friday
