DESCRIPTION

This position is located at Fort Carson and supports the US Army. This role receives inbound calls and emails to troubleshoot issues had by deployed soliders with BFT (Blue Force Tracker). It is located in a 24x7x365 facility and will require work on nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts rotate quarterly.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills and Education:

- General Help Desk knowledge
- Networking knowledge (Should know OSI model basic concepts)
- Must be able to work a rotating shift (1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts)
- Ability to work with people via email or telephone and calmly extract knowledge of the issue to determine real root of problem
- Very outgoing personality, must work well in a hardworking and busy team environment
- Must be able to work with a very diverse team

- Secret Clearance Required


Preferred Skills and Education:
- Security Certification (Security+ or higher)
- Cisco skill set is an advantage
