HCM Systems Project Manager

The HCM Systems Project Manager (PM) works closely with team members, business stakeholders and our consulting partner to lead the implementation and deployment of the new HCM / SaaS solution. The HCM Systems PM will also serve as the Deputy Project Manager (DPM) for Vectrus’ broader application modernization initiative.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Use of computers with Microsoft software products (e.g. Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point) as well as other ERP/HCM software. Use of printers, FAX machine, copy machine and other general office equipment.
Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties may consist of work in out-door areas with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions/ambient temperatures.
Travel 50% of the time (will vary based on stage of the project).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications:
Eight years’ work experience with minimum 6 years’ experience in IT systems project management role(s).
Experience working with government services companies and with leadership role(s) in HR/Payroll system implementation projects desired.
Complex IT project management, including schedule management, resource management, cost management, quality management and issue/risk management.
HCM systems implementation and sustainment.
IT service management and ITIL.
Will manage a project team of approximately 10 people matrixed from other departments.
