Job Description
This is a hybrid position in which the candidate will be expected to have meetings in the office, some work can be done remotely, and there will be local travel involved.

The Foundations Partner Recruiter is a contributing team member of JI’s “Foundations” or early childhood education department. This position contributes to the growth and expansion of systems of support for the early childhood workforce, with an aim of retaining current staff in the field and building a pipeline of new staff entering the field. This position will support the overall direction of the Foundations program through participation, community engagement, and in carrying out the essential work of this critical position. This position will assist collaborating agencies, partners, and community providers in problem-solving and moving toward a system of supports for the early childhood workforce by helping to establish more pathways into the field and increasing awareness of the impact of this work on the local community. This position will also support data collection to aid in data-driven decision-making.

• Basic understanding of early childhood workforce systems, certifications, educational and career pathways, and knowledge of local, state, and community resources
• Works with diverse individuals and agencies
• Promotes consensus among diverse opinions
• Balances multiple priorities, various goals, and needs
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to empathize, listen, encourage, and guide
