Dynetics is seeking talented individuals to serve in an Analysis/Scientist Role in support of a diverse team developing models and simulations as part of the Missile Defense Agency’s Radar Test Contract in Colorado Springs. The engineer/scientist in this role will use radar requirements, software development skills and modeling expertise to analyze both real time and non-real time closed loop radar models.IND3
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's (or Master's) Degree from an ABET accredited school in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related STEM Discipline.
Candidates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply with a GPA of >3.3
- Minimum of Interim Secret to report to work.
- Familiarity with distributed computing systems and/or real-time computing/messaging systems.
- Familiarity with UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with C++, JAVA, Matlab.
- Experience with Software Baseline Control Management processes/procedures.
Ability to work at a government facility within a multi-contractor team environment.
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to own problems through to resolution.
Candidate must be a resident of the Colorado Springs, CO area or willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs - Colorado area.
Possess a Top Secret Clearance.
Past experience with MDIOC.
Past experience with OSM/OSI or DSA-P.
Missile Defense domain knowledge.
Experience working in Agile Framework.
Experience in complex system assessment/analysis; with exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of system architectures, networks, and operations.
Experience in engineering M&S systems using an optimistic discrete event simulation platform
Experience with risk management, issue resolution, problem solving and customer service.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
