Job Description

The Education Resource Advisor role serves as a trusted internal consultant and strategic business partner, meeting team members where they are to help guide career paths and further cultivate deep employee engagement. You will work closely with leaders in Development and those building and structuring Ent University as an expert on employee development matters. You will act as a business partner to consult with organizational leaders and team members to identify learning needs and opportunities to continuously improve learning practices. Your collaborative efforts will help define and deliver enhanced employee experiences for onboarding, learning, and team building while unlocking passion, purpose, and strengths.

Major Activities:

  • Working directly with business line leaders, provides day to day learning & development guidance.
  • Establishes and maintains an intimate understanding of the departments making up the business and how they must function together to enable member value delivery.
  • Meeting regularly with business units, builds trusted relationships with leaders and individual contributors alike; discusses development goals and objectives to assess learning needs; provides open feedback loops for Ent University curriculum.
  • Understands primary career path options within each business unit and across departments. Assists in documenting career frameworks and pathing in order to optimize Ent University curriculum and provide input Learning Innovation efforts.
  • Through a consultative approach, identifies unmet skills-based training needs.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of Ent University and external course offerings relevant to professional goals.
  • Coach business leaders on Ent University course offerings to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
  • Analyzes trends in partnership with Learning & Development leaders to help ideate and develop future Ent University offerings.

Strategic Support and Collaboration:

  • Collaborating with organizational leaders and technical training teams, provides ’train-the-trainer” style support to enable consistent training experiences across the organization.
  • Collaborating with organizational leaders and technical training teams, provides methods to assess and monitor all organizational training, enabling continuous improvement to training programs.
  • Collaborating across the organization, collects and shares with Development leadership comments, ideas, and concerns from staff interactions, also enabling continuous improvement.
  • Suggests ways to refine current processes, or create new processes, to streamline and enhance employee experiences.
  • Assists with special projects as needed to support new organizational initiatives.
  • Appropriately seeks out Ent’s HR Business Partners for knowledge of individual performance concerns while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum formal education required for this position:

Knowledge consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or similar relevant field.
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years’ of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master’s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Minimum work experience:

6+ years’ combined experience in Human Resources, Development, Learning, Education, Member Service, or related general experience to include at least 4+ years’ experience in adult education, curriculum delivery, curriculum development, career pathing / career counseling, or other related learning advisory roles.
Key Attitudes / Characteristics / Specialized Knowledge / Skills for this position:

Proficient knowledge of learning techniques, styles, and external/internal materials.
Proficient knowledge of human resources methods such as performance management and career planning.
Technically savvy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Extensive knowledge and practical application of learning and development methods.
Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and flexibly.
Strong interpersonal, persuasive, written/verbal communication.
Excellent planning, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications required:

Driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate-controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all candidates under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. May be required to drive to offsite locations for purposes of on-site employee interaction.
Salary range for this position: $70,345.60 to $92,310.40 (S16) This position is eligible for annual corporate bonus based upon performance.
