Job Description

The Digital Media Buyer will seek to optimize eye-on-screen time by researching the digital habits of target demographics and buying ad space that is relevant to brands seeking to influence the target demographics. The Digital Buyer will decide what digital channels (social media, apps, search engines, site banners, streaming platforms, etc.) will set the stage for the most conversions, greatest brand recognition or the most qualified leads. Responsibilities:

 

  •  Ideate, plan, execute and optimize comprehensive digital advertising strategies, media plans and campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement optimizations to maximize ROI and decrease CPA.  
  • Analyze daily performance and create monthly performance reports to be shared with the internal team as well as clients.
  • Continuously research and test new ad formats and platforms.
  • Implement and ensure all tracking and pixels are set up correctly via Google Tag Manager.
  • Willingness to create creative assets for ad buys via platforms such as Canva when needed.  
  • Negotiate direct buys for best pricing and value adds.

 

Job Requirements
• Four-year degree at accredited college in marketing, advertising, technology, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing digital media for clients and working with Google Analytics
• Experience with Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google Data Studio, and YouTube a plus, but not required
• Solid understanding of digital marketing data trends and KPIs and the tradeoffs associated with each
• Analytic research: Google Analytics Certification
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Spreadsheet
• PowerPoint experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as be a productive and supportive team member
• Ability to work and communicate well with others
• Proactive multitasking
