We would love to invite you to learn more about this newly opened role, that will help augment our Architecture and Project Planning Team. You will have the opportunity to integrate cybersecurity policies, architectural standards, and strategic objectives into access control decisions, contractual reviews, exception management processes, and projects throughout the organization.

What to look forward to:

  • Playing a huge role in the tracking of cybersecurity initiatives and projects through various phases of implementation

  • Working with project managers and other technical leads to ensure cybersecurity requirements are being met and applying these requirements in a standardized fashion throughout the initiative timeline or project lifecycle

  • These projects/ initiatives include:

  • On-Premise or Cloud-Based Application / Service Deployments (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS)

  • Operational Technology (ICS, DCS, SCADA)

  • Smart Grid, Microgrids, Advanced Metering Infrastructure

  • Internet of Things (IoT)

Please note that this position requires the successful candidate to participate in the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team which may require activation outside of normal working hours.

What will it take to be successful in this position?

  • Knowledge of modern networks (e.g. ethernet, packets, wireless, routing, switching, etc.)

  • Experience in network management preferable.

  • Knowledge of network access control mechanisms.

  • Experience in firewall administration preferable.

  • Basic skill in approximation of cybersecurity risk and the need to balance risk with business / user functionality.

  • Consistent desire and capacity to learn and make rational decisions.

  • Presentation skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to automate tasks using scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python, etc.)

  • Be able to obtain and maintain two of the following certifications*:

  • ISC 2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)

  • CompTIA Security+ GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF)

  • ISC 2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

*Other certifications and / or experience may be accepted in lieu of the certification requirements.
