Job Description

Summary

We are CUSITech, a team of IT service/ICT techs and specialists providing nationwide, consistent, on-site electrical, low-voltage, and hardware installation services. Recently, we have acquired and partnered with Peak Professional Contractors Inc., a leading general contracting team and Downtown Electric, a company lighting the way of Colorado Springs. Our newly welcomed teams are the building block for CUSITech to be that one-stop-shop across all industries. 

We are looking to fill our newly created account executive role to sell our construction, electrical, and technology services. As an Account Executive (AE) with CUSITech, we’ll empower you with everything you need to drive sales with your existing and new relationships.

Essential Functions

  • Generate new account business through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
  • Develop a new book of business from the ground up with a focused approach into the specified industries.
  • Generate new account business through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Local networking (community events, professional association meetings, etc.)
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • The right candidate will demonstrate a “hunter” mentality, a common-sense approach, and an outstanding work ethic.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience. (preferred)

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong business acumen with an ability to influence key decision makers.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Formal consultative sales training a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of quality building practices.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a semi-professional office environment as well as onsite in a construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level at the job sites can be loud.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is constantly required to communicate by phone and in person, operate computer, as well as remain stationary (seated or standing) for up to 90% of time or greater. The associate is occasionally required to move about with-in the office or at a job site.

The associate is seldom required to move more than 75 lbs.
