Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on Stryker vehicle systems and subsystems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on Stryker variants.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, exhaust, driveline, and suspension using BITE, MTPs, special tools, and technical documentation.
  • Remove, repair, and replace Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and subcomponents; perform disassembly, adjustment, reassembly, and functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems across Stryker platforms, including variant-specific configurations.
  • Use technical manuals and schematics to perform accurate diagnostics and repair procedures.
  • Accurately complete maintenance forms, work orders, and other administrative documentation.
  • Maintain accountability for tools, test equipment, and assigned property.
  • Operate Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to support reporting and maintenance tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical school certification preferred.
  • Clearance: Must be able to gain and maintain access to military facilities.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience working with Stryker vehicles or similar military platforms.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain a tank driver’s license if required.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in using IETMs and schematics to identify parts and diagnose system issues.
    • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and military maintenance systems.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must meet ASR (Anthropometric Size Requirements) for vehicle entry.
    • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
    • Capable of working in various environments, including field and shop settings, and adjusting to schedule changes.
