Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team near Woodland Park, CO. In this school-based role, you will work directly with students to enhance their speech and language skills, enabling them to achieve success both academically and socially. Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs and provide appropriate interventions.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each students unique communication goals.
Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Participate in IEP meetings to provide valuable input on student goals and strategies for success.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Colorado SLP license or eligibility.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
Passion for working with children and helping them improve their communication skills.
