Job Description
Liaises with clients and teams through various internal projects and initiatives. Conducts projects in regard to moderately complex initiatives and implementations. Works on leadership development and employee engagement projects independently or participates as a team member for major, complex, or international initiatives. May coach and oversee the work of other specialists. This position reports to the Senior Director for Leadership Development.

Essential Job Functions

Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
Implements strategy, project plans and resource allocation, communication plans, measurement, metrics and reporting, and administration of leadership development initiatives and implementations.
Serves as project manager for assigned initiatives and objectives. Manages projects in alignment with key project deliverables and benefits; aligns work with established program methodology, process and documentation support. Ensures that assigned projects are delivered on-budget, and in alignment with road maps and work plans.
Coordinates the employee engagement process within Compassion, utilizing appropriate strategies and tools. Collaborates with stakeholders to implement appropriate action plans that will contribute to higher levels of employee engagement across a specified department or team
Coordinates the implementation and delivery of programs that are in alignment with Compassion’s staff development framework. Conducts post-implementation evaluation and assessment.
Delivers leadership coaching to key staff and teams upon request. Coordinates the implementation of leadership development and organizational succession planning programs through blended learning opportunities.
Facilitates the maintenance of strategic plans and corresponding budgets to achieve established goals and priorities. Monitors budgets to ensure that they are within accepted variance levels and that changes to plans are fully vetted and approved through appropriate channels.
Collaborates with internal strategy resources/teams for analytics and reporting to provide insight to key initiatives and implementations driven by the Leadership function. Further implements changes to leadership programs based on evaluation and feedback.
May coach and provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the leadership development discipline.

Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Work Experience

Seven years' experience working in this or similar position or field.

Licenses and Certifications

Working Environment: Office – Standard Office Environment

Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day

Travel Requirements: May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
