Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, and vocal quality.
  • Help patients develop alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language, AAC devices).
  • Work on cognitive-communication skills like memory, problem-solving, and social interaction.
  • Assist patients with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) through exercises and dietary recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Use standardized tests, observation, and patient history to diagnose conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Maintain required licensure and certifications (e.g., CPR, PCM).
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience working as a speech therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Clinical environment
  • Experience creating care plans

Education Requirements:

  • CCC-SLP
  • Colorado State Speech Language Pathology License
