Responsible for managing all sales activities related to surface stormwater product lines within a designated region. These product lines may include trench and slot drains, stormwater management systems, oil-water separators, building drainage solutions, and related infrastructure products. This role involves developing and executing an approved business plan for the assigned territory.
Monitor and guide sales performance within the territory.
Consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Oversee distributor performance to ensure adherence to agreement terms.
Lead weekly review sessions with internal sales and customer service teams.
Identify, manage, and close key regional projects using CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Actively search for new business opportunities using online and industry tools.
Prepare and send submittal packages to distributors or direct customers upon receipt of purchase orders.
Work with architects, engineers, and design/build firms to establish product specifications.
Communicate client needs to appropriate internal departments such as Customer Service, Business Development, or Technical Services.
Collaborate with Marketing by providing project photos and documentation for promotional use.
Assist with resolving customer issues in a timely manner.
Participate in regional budget planning.
Organize and attend trade shows and related industry events.
Expect approximately 60% travel; additional office time requires supervisor approval.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS:
This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary depending on region and business demands.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or a combination of education and 1-2 years of relevant experience/training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, reports, and business correspondence.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical interpretation.
Comfortable presenting to clients, managers, and stakeholders.
Proficient with numerical calculations including area, volume, and percentages.
Skilled in problem-solving and adapting to non-standard situations.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Daily travel required; extensive driving may be involved.
Regular physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to use a computer for up to 2 hours per day.
Occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
